  • D’Olier Street is located on Dublin’s south side on the corner of D’Olier Street and Hawkins. The closest Luas stops are Westmoreland or Trinity on the Green Line. The closest bus stops are the 9, 13, 14, 15, 16, 27, 39, 49, 83, 123, 150, and the 151. Parking near the restaurant is extremely limited and not advised.

  • Yes, D’Olier Street is the sister restaurant to Mr Fox, and shares a co-owner, Anthony Smith.

  • Vouchers can be purchased online. If you’d like a physical voucher, they are available for pickup at the restaurant. Vouchers are available in any amount and do not expire. To redeem a voucher, either print the confirmation email or have the confirmation email available on a mobile device at the time of dining.

  • Unfortunately, Mr Fox gift vouchers cannot be accepted at D’Olier Street. 

  • The 13-course tasting menu is 128 euro per person. An à la carte menu is not available at this time. A five-glass wine pairing is offered for 88 euro per person, and a non-alcoholic cocktail pairing for 48 euro per person. Wines by the bottle and by the glass are also available. 

  • Dishes on the menu change seasonally, about every eight weeks. 

  • Guests have the option to sit around a chef’s counter or at a table in the dining room. At the chef’s counter, guests sit side by side and have a bird’s eye view of the action in the kitchen. In the dining room, guests sit across from each other at a standard individual table. Both options have the same style chair, the same menu, and the same service.

  • D’Olier Street offers two seatings for dinner: An early seating from 5 - 5:45 pm, and a later seating starting at 8:15 pm.

  • D’Olier Street is open for lunch on Fridays, with seatings from 12 - 12:45 pm and features the full 13-course tasting menu.

  • Absolutely. Most guests require 2-2.5 hours to enjoy the meal depending on party size. Guests who book the earlier seating can easily be finished in time to get to the theatre or a show.  

  • D’Olier Street is happy to accommodate most dietary restrictions with 24 hours advance notice. While a full vegetarian menu is available, D’Olier Street cannot accommodate vegan or dairy-free/egg-free diets at this time.

  • Due to the nature of the menu and length of the meal, D’Olier Street is not suitable for most children, and no kids’ menu is available. High chairs are not available on the premises and the restaurant is unable to accommodate prams or buggies in the dining room.

  • Yes. This includes a wheelchair-accessible bathroom.

  • There is no dress code at D’Olier Street. We encourage you to come as you are!

  • Yes, the restaurant takes walk-ins as availability permits.

  • We respectfully ask for due notice if booking numbers increase or decrease. Please note that a 75 euro per person charge will be taken in the case of a very late (within 48 hours) drop in party size or cancellation, and a charge of 128 euro per person in the case of a no show.

  • The art throughout D’Olier Street is the work of Dublin native, Casey Walshe, who created five original pieces for the space.

    Walshe, who has been painting for 12 years and earned a degree in Fine Art from NCAD, is the recipient of the Irish Arts Council’s Next Generation Award and was shortlisted for the Hennessy Craig Award.
